EdgyChic Boutique and our sister company Kobi Ann Cosmetics have brought my lifelong dream to life. With the support of God and my husband, I am proud to share my passion for fashion and creativity with you.

Our store and cosmetic line were born out of a love for fashion, a desire to express ourselves on a larger scale, and a commitment to creating a lasting legacy for our family. Our family, particularly our granddaughter Kobi Ann, is the most important thing to us after God.

Our goal is to empower and inspire you to express your own unique style through fashion. We believe that the right outfit can bring confidence and happiness to a woman's day. It can turn a bad day into a good one, give a woman the confidence she needs for an interview, or simply put a smile on the face of a stay-at-home mom treating herself.

Instead of pursuing an education in fashion, I chose to obtain a Master of Business Administration. With over 20 years of retail and sales experience, I believe that the best lessons in life are learned through exploration and experience. In January 2016, my employer of nearly two decades let me go, marking my last day of work as March 31, 2016. At that point, I had two choices: to take the conventional path or to forge my own way. The fear of working for someone else for the rest of my life outweighed anything else.

In life, we often have to choose between security and freedom, but I wanted both. So, over those 90 days, my husband and I meticulously planned our store. We found a small storefront and made the leap. The first year of running our own business taught us invaluable lessons. It's not easy. There are no 9-to-5 hours. It requires continuous, nonstop work of at least 65 to 70 hours a week. However, it offers freedom.

Undoubtedly, this has been the most challenging and fulfilling experience of my life. As a notorious workaholic, I live for my store and the joy of helping my customers find their perfect outfits. When you enter EdgyChic, you see my soul on display - from the overall aesthetic to the carefully selected clothes.
